Telescopic lift trucks
Telescopic lift trucks provide versatility and height. These units are outfitted with a pronged lift on an arm which extends over the top of the truck. The crane, or arm, is known as a telescopic boom. The boom enables the individual using it to lift the cargo to great heights while maintaining a high degree of control. Regular lift trucks can not move the load towards and away from the forklift cab, while a telescopic forklift allows that movement. The telescopic forklift is commonly used in construction and agriculture. It is recommended for applications where greater lift and control is needed.
A lift truck carton clamp attachments are better in situations requiring high volume carton handling. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings which allow the operator to use uniform clamping force when picking up a cargo. It comes with a backrest that protects the cargo from damage.
A slip sheet attachment fits onto a slip sheet forklift. It is utilized for storing systems which don't use pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forks on the forklift. This kind of system is useful for intra-corporate deliveries and for overseas shipments.
A man basket is a lift platform designed specially to raise workers. The basket attaches to the forks on the forklift, held in with a strap or chain which is to be secured directly to the forklift carriage. The platform has railings to protect the employees from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are utilized for fastening the worker's safety harness.
